Tokyu Hands is a giant everything-store found all over Japan especially in major cities. The place is a heaven for all things craft related like pens, pencils, stationery, paint, art supplies, and tools. As well as… just about anything else really. The biggest one in Osaka seems to be in Shinsaibashi where I went to get more pencils. You should definitely check out one of these stores if you ever come across one in Japan. You can find all sorts of neat and unusual items here.
Shinsaibashi area during the fall. This was back in November before the leaves fell.
I learned in my Marketing class here that Japan alone accounts for over 50% of their sales or something to that effect; LV is extremely popular here and is the go-to brand for girls of all ages. Many college girls walk around with LV bags and it is not uncommon to see even high school girls with them as well… actually, even guys have LV wallets and bags here! It’s not that they are rich (well, some are) but I heard most just blow their entire summer or yearly savings on the stuff.
Shinsaibashi-suji… the seemingly endless outside shopping arcade.
Christmas stuff on display at Tokyu Hands. I didn’t know they brought Furbies back… complete with LCD eyes! Not sure which is creepier… them or this Santa.
100% pure chocolate… so it must be edible right?
If I were to go to a masquerade party, I’ll wear the black one on the far left.
Fake mustaches for those who can’t grow one or too young to grow one.
I wonder if this is where all the maid and hostess cafe employees come to get their costumes…
In Japan, Santa can turn Super Saiyan.
Very handy for when you have to defend yourself against ninjas during meal time. I’m not sure how durable it is though…
Lightsaber, EVA or Harry Potter chopsticks?

Stationery heaven!
If I am understanding this product correctly… this is a touch panel EVA-01 finance calculator, a “mankind savings plan”… “I must save. I must save. I MUST SAVE!”
I already have a hard enough time solving a 1 x 1 x 1 rubik’s cube. This will take me forever and a millennium to solve!
A $30 letter opener for those really tough to open envelopes.
Best find of the day. A big eraser for those big mistakes in life.
Ended the day with a fresh cream, strawberry, banana with chocolate sauce crepe! My first in Japan. Yum!

100% pure chocolate camera. Wouldn’t want to use one on a hot day. XD
Darth Vader mask is so random. lol
Facial hair for those who want to look more manly.
Gold Santasan looks more like Muten Roshi… that explains the Super Saiyan wannabe. XD
Nunchops… when one chopstick falls, the other follows.
I did purchase a LED Star Wars chopsticks recently. A mail from the supplier, Kotobukiya, warns people not to wash the chopsticks for fear of electric charges. Whoever wants to eat with these kind of chopsticks should get the ones without the LED. ^^;
The EVA piggy bank, with so many features, I wonder how many coins it could store. But I wonder where’s the point of a piggy bank when you already spent so much for the piggy bank itself. ^^; Same goes for a wallet.
Letter opener is only an excuse for people to be prepared for a ninja ambush. Or be one themselves.
I’ll bet there’s an even bigger eraser for Radar Seed Destiny.
But seriously though, that’s a ridiculously huge eraser. XD

Wait… how can you clean the chopstick after using it then? o_0 I supposed those chopsticks are very useful for eating in the dark. Not sure why anyone would do that but that’s beside the point.
The Radar SEED Destiny version will probably be modular where you can assemble it in different shapes to suit the situation.
